#TLDR: I'm still here! I miss you! I'm going virtual with my stuff! Check the newsletter and Instagram for the latest on Patreon, classes, and please come to the first event, our launch party, on Sunday April 5.
As of March 2020, all of my in person workshops and programs are suspended in the interest of safety and encouraging everyone to stay home. These are some wild and uncertain times!
My priority is all of our safety and long term well being, and I recognize that our creative outlets and our community are crucial right now to keep us going.
Here are just a few ways to access my offerings to start, and I will roll out more moving forward. The best way to keep up to date is by signing up for my newsletter and following me on Instagram.
I've been planning to expand remote offerings for a few years now, as a way to make my classes accessible to folks outside of Austin or who might find this a more accessible option than an in-person class. So this is the time! It's what we're doing now so I'm jumping in!
We just have to start somewhere and see how it goes, so I welcome your feedback about how to make my work accessible, how I can best support you right now.
Speaking of accessibility, I recognize that this is a time that is both tough and unpredictable for most of us and I want to be able to make my offerings available with a range of membership levels that you can change, some a la carte options for private lessons, sew along classes, and group events, and I'll continue to offer unpaid content via my instagram feed and stories. I have a goal for each Patreon level that if reached, I can add one or more sliding scale spots. So I'm hoping we can all pitch in where we can to uplift more of us.
Thank you for being here! Be safe and be well, and do what is nourishing to you.
Curious Stitch Artist Residency
March - August 2019 at Austin Public Library Central
Returning summer 2020 to the Spicewood Springs branch
In partnership with APL's Youth Services programming I will be collaborating with young artists to explore dimensional fiber art through color and use of recycled objects, creating magical landscapes and soft sculptural fiber art. Our exhibit will include work made in the workshops I will be facilitating alongside my own work.
Are you following me on instagram? You should! That's where I post about my current projects and creative endeavors.
